12/2009 - Ubuntu on i.MX515

Ubuntu runs on Eukréa 's development kit based on the i.MX515 CPU from Freescale. The screen is driven through DVI interface with a resolution of 1280x1024 in 24 bits. A keyboard and a mouse are connected to the USB hub. The picture shows Firefox, Gimp and shell running.

11/2009 - i.MX515 Dev Kit Validated

Eukréa has finished the validation of our CPUIMX515 SOM and its development kit. Two of our customers are already working on the first prototypes. The final release of the development kit will be available in december with a full BSP including u-boot and Linux 2.6 kernel.

10/2009 - First i.MX515 SOM Presented

Eukréa presented its new CPUIMX515 SOM built around the new CPU i.MX515 of Freescale during the Designing With Freescale day on the 13th october 2009 in Paris.
